Treatment of Work Related Injuries
Work related injuries are treated at Ottawa Regional Medical Center during normal office hours.
On site services available include:
- Emergency Procedure Room
- Laceration Suturing and Foreign Body Removal
- X-ray
- Clinical Laboratory
- Electrocardiography
- Cast Room
- NIDA and Non-NIDA Drug Screening
- Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT)
Ottawa Regional Medical Center staff will help you oversee your worker's compensation claims through the following:
- Initial treatment of injury and follow up care
- Reports to the employer regarding diagnosis and return to work instructions
- Physicians monitor the employee's progress and make appropriate referrals for rehabilitation, specialist care, diagnostic studies, and educational programs.
- Case management of the employee is provided from initial treatment to rehabilitation and return to work
