Diabetes Education Classes

Education is an important component of Ottawa Regional Medical Center’s Diabetes Care Program.  A referral from your ORMC physician is required for all classes.  Each class is conducted by Ami Dose, Certified Nurse Practitioner and Diabetic Educator. Working together with your physician, they will assess your particular needs and recommend or tailor an individual class to meet those needs.  The goal of the diabetic educator is to make sure that you know what to do to live a healthy life with diabetes.
